Banteay Meanchey Residents Find Nearly 20 War Remnants

Banteay Meanchey : Residents in Ta Doul village, Phkam commune, Svay Chek district, Banteay Meanchey province, found 18 unexploded ordnance while they are plowing field,1,000 meters east of the village at 10:23 a.m. on Tuesday, 25 January. They immediately reported the finding to the local authorities to take the necessary measures and to avoid untoward accidents.

Svay Chek District Police Inspector, Colonel Chea Sloh has said that the ammunition consisted of 15 82 desa bullets, one 69 mine bomb and two 60mm rounds.

Currently, the police have provided information to clear and check mines and destroy.
